This site includes baseball packs spanning from sealed wax packs, unopened and factory sealed wax cases, cello boxes, rack boxes and cases, jumbo packs, and many more unopened baseball card packs from all of the major Major League Baseball card manufacturers.  Companies from the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's and earlier include Topps, Fleer, Leaf, Donruss, O-Pee-Chee, and many others here and there as well as Upper Deck starting in 1989.  Unopened packs are a great way to get your favorite cards in the set because, assuming they are unsearched, they offer you random opportunities to get an unlimited amount of your favorite cards in packs.  They are great holiday gift ideas and at this site, they will be focused on in detail.  Some examples are 36 pack wax boxes from Topps, Donruss, and Fleer from the 1980's baseball, basketball, and football cards.  Basketball cards were not made by Fleer until 1986-87 though, and unopened packs of those can be very valuable.  If you find packs in unopened condition, they are worth saving unopened sometimes, as opening them may decrease the value if they are not of the best players.  Getting vintage baseball cards in near mint or better condition though provides opportunities for grading your cards which may increase the value.

Cello packs and boxes have more cards per pack, rack packs and boxes even more (usually 1,152 cards per rack box, wow!) and then there are jumbo packs such as from 1989 Topps baseball which contained up to 100 cards.  There also are vending boxes which have 500 cards per box and unbelievably, these have been around since the 1950's from Topps, though vintage material of this sort is not an easy find.  Please scroll throughout here as more unopened baseball card packs and articles on them (including all major sports cards) will be added soon when time permits.

Wax boxes typically, if from the 1980's or earlier, contain 36 or 48 packs (48 if they are O-Pee-Chee boxes but they have less than 15 cards in them mostly) and are not necessarily factory sealed as I don't think many of the earlier boxes came in that form, even in the early to mid 1980's.  Card companies did not start sealing them when distributing them until later on when card collecting took off in the mid to late 1980's.  Unopened wax packs were sealed with wax and may or may not contain gum typically 20+ years old, though some current cards such as Topps Bazooka basketball card packs contain edible bubble gum still (which is quite good as I had a piece when buying some of the new Topps Bazooka basketball cards one year).
Listed below on this current page will be a real-time updated list of current Ebay listings for factory sealed boxes from baseball, basketball, hockey, and football card packs.  Unopened factory sealed packs provide you with the best opportunity to be able to get your favorite cards in packs.  Here is a detailed overview of the different kinds of boxes and packs that you can find.
Traded card sets typically only come in factory sealed boxed sets, though there are exceptions such as 1991 Topps traded baseball cards, which came in unopened packs and boxes as well if I remember correctly.  Traded Sets  is where to find more information about update sets.
